12:00 – 1:00  Lunch discussion with OSU graduate students (all depts welcome): “Designing and implementing citizen science”  (Cord 3030 – Dornfeld)  pizza lunch provided

1:30-2:30  Seminar (open to public): “The origin and maintenance of biodiversity gradients: making inferences over regional to global scales” (ALS 4001)  light refreshments provided

2:30 – 3:00 Reception (Cord 3029A – Conference Room)  light refreshments and snacks provided

4:00 – 5:30 Meeting with Matthew Betts (Fisheries & Wildlife, Richardson 216) and F&W Happy Hour

5:30 – ? Dinner with IB graduate students @ roof top of Sky High Brewery (160 NW Jackson, downtown Corvallis)  IB department will contribute funds towards the cost of food

 

MAY 2, 2015 (SATURDAY)

9:45  Meet at Cordley parking lot to coordinate carpooling

10:00 – 12:00ish  Explore the William L. Finley National Wildlife Refuge (http://www.fws.gov/refuge/william_l_finley

12:00 – ?  Lunch (location TBD by participants)  individuals responsible for costs of own meal
